October 23, 2007 — maheshasherDNB-CET for SUPER SPECIALITY COURSES (POST DOCTORAL -POST DNB/MD/MS)
NATIONAL BOARD OF EXAMINATIONS, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India has announced the notice for Entrance Examination for DNB-CET for SUPER SPECIALITY COURSES (POST DOCTORAL -POST DNB/MD/MS).
Applications are invited in prescribed forms for the Entrance Exam to the following courses:
A. Medical Specialities Group: Admission to DNB in Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Neurology, Medical Oncology, Neonatology. The eligibility for these course is the candidates should have the DNB/MD in Medicine or Peadiatrics and for Neonatology the candidates should have the DNB/MD in Peadiatrics.
B. Surgical Specialities Group: Admission to DNB in Surgical Gastroenterology, Pediatric Surgery, Surgical Oncology,Plastic Surgery, Neuro Surgery, Cardio Thoracic Surgery, and Genito Urinary Surgery. The eligibility for these course is the candidates should have the DNB/MS - General Surgery. The eligibility criteria for CET (Super Specialities): Only the candidates who have the degrees as prescribed above on or before the cut off dates are eligible to appear in the CET (Super Specialties) examination.
NATIONAL BOARD OF EXAMINATIONS is also invited for admission to DNB-CET for TWO YEAR POST DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMMES. Applications are also invited in prescribed forms for the Entrance Exam to the following Post Doctoral Fellowship Courses: under Critical Care Medicine, eligibility: DNB -MD (Medicine, Anaesthesia), Cardiac Anaesthesia, eligibility: DNB-MD (Anaesthesia), Peadiatric Haemato Oncology, Eligibility: DNB-MD (Peadiatrics), Peadiatric Intensive Care, eligibility: DNB-MD (Peadiatrics), Peadiatric Cardiology, eligibility: DNB-MD (PEADIADIATRICS)/DM (Cardiology), Interventional Cardiology, Eligibility: DNB-Cardiology, DM-Cardiology, Spine Surgery, eligibility: DNB-MD (Ortho), Hand & Micro Surgery, eligibility: DNB-MS (General Surgery), M.Ch (Pastic Surgery) Minimal Access Surgery, eligibility: DNB-MS (General Surgery), Accident and Trauma Care, eligibility: DNB-MS (General surgery) MS(Ortho), Laboratory Medicine, eligibility: DNB-MS (Medicine, Pathology, Microbiology, iochemistry), Infectious Disease, eligibility:DNB-MS (Medicine, Peadiatrics, Microbiology), High Risk Pregnancy and Perinatology; Reproductive Medicine, eligibility: DNB-MD (OBGYN), Vitreo-retinal Surgery, eligibility: DNB-MS (Opthalmology).

The IMPORTANT DATES ARE: a. Date of CET (Super Speciality and Post-Doctoral Fellowships) exam: 12th January 2008. b. Last date for receipt of completed application form at NBE Office: 26th December 2007. c. Last Date for receipt of completed application form at NBE Office with Late Fees of Rupees One thousand and Five hundred: Up to 2nd January 2008
